Sana Spices is a small family business established in 2015 in the tropical town of Sayulita, Mexico. From the beginning, we chose to be different by creating our mixes of spices and herbal teas in a purest way, without additives and locally sourced. We also decided to avoid colorants, fillers, synthetic agents, anti-caking additives, chemicals, pesticides and GMOs. We’re working towards ending inequality and exploitation in food systems that disenfranchise skilled farmers. We believe that less is more and that is why we decided to focus on supporting local agriculture and also growing our own ingredients.
Our spices and herbs come from different part of Mexico and the world. Most of our spices are organically grown; some of our partner farmers are certified organic and some are not. They are harvested by hand, dried naturally and transported whole to preserve freshness.
We strive to inspire our customers to enjoy cooking, experiment with new flavors, while taking care of their bodies and supporting small family farms locally and around the world.
